Stephen serves as the Manager of Online Training for Blackaby Ministries and Blackaby Ministries International. His responsibilities include oversight of computer technologies, development of on-line courses, and teaching at the Blackaby Training Center. In addition to his responsibilities with Blackaby Ministries, Stephen is the Coordinator of Online Education at the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary where he also teaches as an Adjunct Professor of Biblical Backgrounds.

Prior to joining Blackaby Ministries Stephen was employed as a Chemical Engineer and served as a Teaching Fellow of Biblical Backgrounds at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Stephen and his wife Jana live in Cochrane, Alberta Canada with their daughter Kseniya. Prior to moving to Cochrane in January 2003 the Parsons lived in Arlington, Texas.
