Jim has served with Dr. Henry Blackaby for 10 years. He began as an entry-level secretary in the office of Prayer & Spiritual Awakening at the Southern Baptist Home Mission Board (HMB) in Atlanta, Georgia. Regardless of position, he has always shared Henry's heartbeat for a much-needed revival in America. His current assignment includes ministry planning and coordination, field correspondence, and office administration.

Prior to joining Dr. Blackaby's ministry Jim happily served as a shipping clerk at HMB. Although he attended several colleges without graduation, he gained a broad education. His "major" areas of study were Secondary Education, Mathematics, Psychology, and Religious Studies.

Jim and his wife, Melanie, reside in Atlanta.
